Award's Day

Today was Awards Day for the entire fourth grade at my school.  All of fourth grade walked down the hall at 8:52  to get to the program. Once we all entered, Awards Day had began for fourth grade.  Mr. Cheely, our teacher and DJ played some jazz music while we waited. First every teacher called the students who had perfect attendance, citizenship, Most Improved Academics, and Most Improved Behavior.  Then our principal Dr. Massey called the students who were on the Principal's list for making all As. Then, Ms. Dorsey called everyone on Honor Roll's list. At the end, our family members talked with our teachers and took pictures. Then the program was over!

I won Honor Roll and the Citizenship Award!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom is so proud of me!!!!!!!!!!!

<---Here are some videos of some my friends opening up the awards day program and reciting the pledge.

Go Bulldogs!!!

WOOWHO!!!!! Its Friday..Its Friday..the end of the week..the last day!!!!

I just got home from my school and its 7:00pm. Well, its b+cuz my school had a basketball game. My school played Hamilton E. Holmes. The cheerleaders had sharp motions. They were loud too.  The basketball players also did good. They tried there best to win their game. They shot the ball as much as they could so they could catch up with the othere team. But the score was bad!! The other team was more experienced  and they were much taller. So, we lost really bad. I forgot the score. But all that doesnt matter, I was happy to be there to watch my friends play and cheer!

Today's Class...

Today in Mr . Stalling's class we learned about Similes and Metaphors. We made portraits of ourseleves. we had to say something about a ourselves and compare it something using a similie of metaphor. My picture came out GREAT.

In Ms. Elikwu's class we learned about why the colonists living in America wanted to have liberty from the British. We talked about hoe the Briish were bullying the colonists. The colonists were upset that the British backstabbed tthe colonists by giving their land away to the Native Americans. Now they are in a big fight. I cant wait to see what happens next!

In Mr. Gumes class we continued to learn about fractions. Its giving me a big headache but Mr. Gumes told me I was one of the best in the class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
